Frequently asked questions
How do I book a band?
Contact us either by phone or email to discuss your event and the band you would like, or for advice on the types of groups we can offer you. Once all the details have been finalised and agreed, we will send signed confirmation to you.
How long do bands play for?
This is completely up to you! As a guide, standard playing time is usually three 45 minute sets spread over 3 hours but we discuss individual requirements for each event.
What do the musicians wear?
Our standard dress code is all black; suits, shirt, tie and shoes. However we will always consult the client on requirements for each event, such as full black tie with dinner jackets for galas and balls.
How much do you charge?
This depends on choice of band, location and timings so we discuss it on a gig-by-gig basis. Don’t hesitate to contact us for a quote on any band.
What do we need to supply on the day?
Musicians bring all equipment with them so all they need is a power supply, a place to store cases and light refreshments.
Can you put together bands for special one-off events?
Yes. We have a large pool of top musicians as well as experienced arrangers and composers who can cater for any request. A recent example is the ‘Light up Leadenhall’ event where we supplied a 14-piece jazz orchestra playing specially arranged jazz versions of Christmas tunes. Contact us for more information.
Is there a limit on how far bands will travel?
No. Obviously this will affect the cost but our musicians regularly play throughout the UK and Europe.
